The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up

I did this over the Holidays and finally decided (a month later) to roll up my sleeves/get to work! So I started in my bedroom. I am not following her exact rules (aka I don’t have a dresser so all my shirts hang up) but I am following the main one: hold every single item in your hand and determine keep/throw out (I have a garage sale room). I worked 8 hours yesterday on two closets. That is all I got done! I moved out 4 bags of garage sale stuff and 3 bags of trash. It was a TON of work but in the end I feel lighter already. I won’t be able to work again on it until 2/20 but I look forward to getting back to it!

I found some interesting things (1 closet was a “catch all” so it was full of a little bit of everything): my journal from 2004, my prayer journal from 2009, a journal prompt book from 2009 that I will be using now, and a computer I had no idea I still had! Needless to say a lot of stuff went into the trash bin but I kept a few things (the journals).
